Dear Prayer Partners,
Last night Rex Holt, a former missionary to Togo, flew into Togo with a volunteer evangelism team. They will be working with Daniel, the Togo Baptist Convention’s leader in charge of evangelism. A dynamic man! The team will be in place until March 8. Please keep them and their work in prayer.
Jeff and I will in Togo, March 6-8. Jeff has meetings with the executive council of the convention. I will be meeting with Philo, the Togo Baptist Women’s director and working some with the volunteer team. Remember our time there.
Since returning from our last trip to Togo, Kari and I have been doing little other than school work. We already have her departure ticket in hand, May 21. We can easily count the weeks between now and then, which lies on pressure! We are well on target for finishing her senior year, but the work is intense! Pray that we’ll be able to finish up even before we plan to!
Last Saturday I participated in a Benin associational women’s day of prayer and fasting. It was a joy to be able to introduce the women present to pray for the unreached of Benin, Togo, Cote d’Ivoire and Burkina Faso, to open their vision toward the great amount of lostness around them! May they daily begin to pray for these and start to have a heart to go minister to them.
