Dear Prayer Partners,

Tomorrow, March 13 (Ryan's 25 birthday), Jeff will be flying to Cote d'Ivoire to teach in the Cote d'Ivoire Baptist Union's Bible School in Yamasoukro (yah-mah-sue-crow).  He will teaching evangelism, church planting and missions, the 15th-23rd.  It sounds like his living conditions will be pretty primitive.

On Saturday, March 24, he will be attending the executive counsel meeting of the Ivorian Baptist Union (Convention) and returning home that same day.

Please pray that his travel will be safe, and that God will use him mightily to influence young pastors in their zeal for reaching the world for Christ.  Remember, also, that Cote d'Ivoire is still in civil conflict between north and south, although we haven't heard of any actual fighting for a long time.  Jeff will be teaching close to the border between peaceful, southern Cote d'Ivoire and the rebel held north.

Remember Kari and me as we stay here in Benin--that we would accomplish much in her schooling and me in writing a newsletter, volunteer requests and a volunteer booklet!

We appreciate your concern for the Rex Holt team from Togo due to the urgent message we tried to get out to you the day they left!  We are sorry for the electronic delay!  God knew their need and they arrived back to their homes excellently!  We praise God for His covering over them!

Love in Christ,

Barbara and Jeff
