Dear Prayer Partners,

We are thrilled to have you a part of our team and to have the joy of sharing with you amazing reports, as the following, of what God did in response to your obedient praying and those who were obedient in their going!

The following message is from Rex Holt, the Togo evangelism volunteer team leader.  His words will bless you! During his teams short time in Togo:

~Over 200 people gave their lives to Christ!

~A blind man miraculously received sight by the healing power of Jesus!

~A woman who couldnt stand being healed to walk!

~A young woman was labeled crazy by the people, restored to normalcy!

We praise God with you for the outpouring of His Spirit upon these people.  Pray that those who surrendered to Jesus Christ will immediately become involved, baptized and radiate Christ all their lives!

We feel there were over 200 who gave their lives to Christ for the first time. Most of these decisions came as a result of our daily prayer walking and witnessing in the Lome area. Since the Lome area churches used the operation Andrew training in preparation for our coming they had literally hundreds of prospective Togolese who needed the Lord. They led us right to them and opened the door for us to pray with them and for them. Typically, they would do the witnessing and get everything ready and then turn to us and say something like, “He is ready”, “She is ready” or “they are ready now to receive Christ”. What a joy to see the determination and dedication of the Togolese Christians as they led the charge. We had four local church revivals with many decisions for salvation and surrender to Christ.

One of the amazing things we experienced was an outpouring of miracles. I had never see the “open heavens” quite like this time. Prayer for the sick was easier and much more effective than ever I have experienced. Donald Williams, our African American team member from McAllen, TX was witnessing to a blind man. The Togolese man was elderly and unable to see anything. Donald prayed for the Lord to restore his sight. The man was able to see Donald hold up his fingers and began counting them. 1, 2, 3. He then saw Donald’s watch and said, “I like that watch, it’s beautiful”. Everyone was amazed. We saw an African woman who was unable to walk stand, take a few timid baby steps and then take off and walk! Amazing!. I was encouraged by little Mawuli, the daughter of Philippe. He brought her to us for prayer. The father was full of faith as he brought her to us. She had been unable to go to school, talk, think or carry on conversations for some time. She had dropped out of school. They pulled me aside and said, “Elle est folle” (She is a lunatic). As we prayed for her I knew something wonderful was happening. Faith got airborn and all of us could sense God at work. Jeff was there. Pam Leveridge started singing a beautiful song over Mawuli and a smile crossed her face. She began to respond to us and started to talk. She went to school for the first time in a long time the very next morning. I believe the Lord touched her and delivered her from the snare of the evil one.

We are excited about the future of this partnership project. I can see churches and Christians strengthened on both sides of the ocean. I visualize new churches springing up all over the country. I believe we will reach the Tamberma (tahm-bear-mah) people with the gospel. The interior and northern reaches of the nation will be impacted by the Gospel. Men like Pastor Nadjombe of Bassar who now lives in Kandi and his four young pastor apprentices will move mountains for God because of their sincere, child-like faith in Jesus.

We love your heart for God and the people of West Africa. I look forward to working with you big time in the years ahead. God bless you my friends.

In His grip of grace,

Rex

All glory to Jesus!
