Dear Prayer Partners,

Thank you so much for your prayers! We had an excellent RETREAT with the convention team March 10-14. Our every minute was jam-packed before Jeff and I arrived at "Tills" (a Ghanaian retreat center on the ocean). Car troubles delayed us from getting to where we wanted to go to finish up retreat preparations in a timely fashion, but God did what He does and put everything together just superbly in spite of our sense of not being adequately prepared as retreat leaders. Through God’s grace the group bonded as a family in a way they never had time to before! We believe each came away with a greater sense of purpose and personal renewal.

Following the retreat we visited several of our team members in Ghana as well as our Baptist Hospital in the village of Nalerigu, while traveling north to Burkina Faso. We've been here in Ouagadougou (capital of Burkina Faso) for several days to spend time with convention leadership and to make some concrete plans for future seminars in the associations. Tomorrow morning, March 24th, we will be traveling 1/2 way back to Benin and hope to arrive home on the 25th. Even though many mechanics have toyed with our vehicle, the part needed hasn't been anywhere that we've been! Therefore our vehicle is still not well, but supposedly drivable!
