Dear Prayer Partners,
Jeff and I are starting a drive up to Burkina Faso early tomorrow, June 10. We will spend the night with missionary friends in the village of Tangieta (than-gee-et-tah), just south of the Burkina border, and arrive in Ouagadougou on Monday.
~Jeff will be attending the Burkina Baptist Convention Executive Committee Meeting on Thursday, June 14
~I will be meeting and fellowshipping with Solange OUEDRAOGO, the president of the Baptist Women in Ouagadougou area and with the Burkina Baptist
Convention’s president’s wife, Solange YE.
~We look forward to spending time with Charles and Kay Morrison. They will be coming to Benin in August to teach at the Bohicon (boe-ee-cahn) Bible
School for 6 months.
~Friday, June 15, we will be driving down to Togo, spending the night with Togo IMB missionaries Ray and Patsy Eitleman, and arriving at Moretan, Togo,
on Saturday to participate in the Bible School’s first graduation class ceremonies.
~Sunday, June 16, Jeff will preach at the Baptist Church in Moretan. Afterwards we will drive 6-7 hours back to Calavi.
~During our trip I need to finish the writing of a new All Nations prayer guide, an intense work!
Pray for God’s protection over us as we travel; wisdom in our conversations and work; the building of life-time relationships that will impact the spread of Christ’s message to all people; and for God’s presence to be powerful in our lives!
More Prayer Partners on Mission:
~Marceline Beem, prayer partner from Gainesville, Florida, is in the process of becoming a career missionary. She will be going to Orlando in August for
further training with Wycliffe and then will be posted to Tanzania!
~Sheila Yates, of South Carolina, long time prayer partner and multiple mission trip volunteer to Benin, left two days ago for evangelistic work in Tanzania.
She will return June 22.
~Our niece, Katie Singerman, is currently ministering in Japan for the summer.
