Larry Bailey’s team of three is having great results during their stay in Togo.  Continue praying! 

 

~In the village of Atakpame (ah-tahk-pah-may) among the Ife (ee-fay) people 65 people surrendered to Christ

~In one hour of evangelization in Badou (bah-doe) among the Akposo (ahk-poe-so) 7 people gave their lives to Jesus

~In Sokode (sow-koe-day) 9 of the Kotokoli (koe-toe-koe-lee), which are predominantly Muslim, found Christ

~In Notse 20 people among the Ewe (eh-vay) and Kabiye (kah-bee-aye) people are now changed for eternity!

 

Larry told the story of going door to door witnessing with Baptist brothers and being earnestly invited into one man’s home.  What Larry remarked about this man were the lines of concern furrowed on his forehead.  Life weighed heavily on him.  Larry shared with him how he could know forgiveness and peace through Jesus Christ.  Eagerly the man prayed.  As Larry looked up after their prayer together he was astonished to see a complete change in the man’s features.  The tension, the furrows were gone and it was as if a halo of light flowed from his face!  Awesome!

 

Just three at work.  What even greater things could God be doing if you were here working with them??

 

Other prayer requests:

~One of our pastors in Benin, Timothy, and his wife Paula and having difficult marital problems.  Timothy is blinded with the false belief that sorcery can destroy his life, even though he knows Christ.  Paula’s mother is a sorcerer.  Pray that truth will break through, the marriage be restored, the entire church encouraged to see God’s power at work and that her mother will come to Christ. (Paula asked me to send this message to you)
