Dear Prayer Partners,
~Kari Singerman and Victoria Cavaliere in Mali update: They are still missing one piece of luggage!
Sent to us from a good friend of Kari's that she was able to IM (instant message) at 6:00 am:
"The girls are having a blast, major problems have been fighting off gigantic cock roaches, and what they thought was a black mamba SNAKE in their hut, thank God is was only a huge centipede, but still! Kari said I would be proud of the way she is handling all the bugs, and how many she has killed, haha! Kari and Victoria stay with the girls (Monica and Krystal on the One Story Team) four days in the village and then they go to the girls' house. You may know but their house is solar powered with dial-up, and I guess the girls only use the net for business and emergencies! So if the girls need to absolutely get a hold of anyone it's available. l guess last night they had taco salad for dinner, but in the village dinner is fun and eventful as everything is; they eat in with their fingers! Their biggest challenge is learning the language right now! They pretty much work on that while shelling peanuts all day (they say their fingers are sore and raw...lots of peanuts!) Today they went to the town and are eating at some restaurant, and maybe a little shopping!
They have three of their four foot lockers, the one they are missing contained some of their clothes, snacks, and some goodies for the girls they are staying with.
Kari said to say hello to everyone, and thank you for your prayers! "
Please keep in prayer
-The girls learning the language
-Staying strong emotionally, spiritually, and physically
-The missing piece of luggage
-And most of all God's will being done
All our love to you--
Barbara and Jeff
