Hello Everyone!
My
deepest apologies, I sent this letter out when it was received, but for some
reason...here it is, unsent! So this is a day or two late - please
continue in your prayers for our friends far away (though perhaps St. Louis is
not so far from some of you!). We are so thankful to have you in the
family of God!
Blessings to
you!
:)

Dear Ayizo and Beyond
Prayer Partners,
Tomorrow morning, Wednesday,
November 1-3, will begin the West African Summit in St.
Louis.
Many missionaries from West
Africa as well as International Mission Board leadership will be present along
with representatives from over 100 churches scattered across the USA to
participate in the West African Summit. The purpose of the WASummit is to
encourage churches and individuals in their mission's involvement; to train
them, help them to see the next level to which they can advance, give them
personal time with missionaries, to present WAfrica needs and to answer
questions. Our desire is to see thousands more volunteers come annually to
West Africa, to have a much greater prayer base for our people groups, and to
see churches actually engage themselves in the responsibility of reaching
unreached peoples, themselves!
(In several
following e-mails I will be sending attachments containing maps which indicate
the continued lostness of the four West African countries in which we are
involved.)
~Pray that churches will respond, volunteers will be sent and West Africa won to
Christ!
Also Tomorrow
morning Kari will be traveling up country to Parakou (pair-ah-kou)
To aid Brenda Roman
(Assembly of God missionary colleague) translate for a team of women from the
USA who will be working at an AG women's center. Kari is excited about
joining in this ministry.
~Please pray for
the car travel and effectiveness of the work. Kari will return
Nov. 8.
Your work of prayer is
changing lives, for eternity!
With
love,
Barbara

PS My cold
is unstuffing itself, but I also have the Benin cocktail added in--amoebas and a
bit of malaria (mild, mild case). I'm not doing much but hanging out in
bed and fooling around with the lap
top!
