Dear Prayer Partners,

Just a few other quick prayer requests:

~The West Africa branch of the International Mission Board is hosting a “Base Camp” in Powell, TN, to train churches who’ve committed to engage or partner with an unreached West African people group to see them come to know Christ. Please pray for those involved in this endeavor. (For more information on how your church can become an “Engaging” church, write us!)

~Pray for the churches in northern Cote d’Ivoire. The lives of the people have been torn apart by war. The churches are discouraged.

I mentioned to you Pastor Dah, the president of the Baptist Convention of Cote d’Ivoire. When he was a younger man he was appointed to stand and collect the tithes and offerings for the Sunday to follow. So deeply moved was he by the fact he would be holding God’s money in his hands that he fasted and prayed for three days before hand.

These are the types of men God has given us to work with.
