Francois MEVO: for Yvette's complete healing and for strength and encouragement
for Francois.
Francois is a diligent
evangelist/church planter among us here in Benin. We've worked many times
over with Francois. God has gifted him with starting churches. He can
start a church as quickly as a person can eat a bag of M&Ms! His wife
is a tremendous asset to his life and ministry. Francois has set an awesome,
godly example by being completely faithful to Yvette, although they've, as
of yet, not been able to have children. Lesser men would have taken a
second wife.
Yvette fell very ill with
cerebral malaria--not something you want to succumb to. Just afterwards
she began to exhibit strange psychological symptoms that necessitated Francois
placing her in a special hospital. There may be a connection between
the cerebral malaria and psychological problems.
Francois has suspended all his evangelism work to care for his wife,
for she is his "first ministry." But his wife's progress toward
complete health is slow and he is discouraged.
May God miraculously
re-establish them both to the awesome ministries to which they have been
called. We need them here on the battle field, winning souls for
Christ.
