Dear Ayizo and Beyond Prayer Partners,

~Kevin is having major passport problems, yet is scheduled to fly here to Benin for Christmas on Dec. 17.
~Mary is absolutely amazed at the changes in her husband since you started praying!
~Jeff leaves tomorrow for Cote d'Ivoire for 1 week to meet with the convention leaders, build relationships and to visit a Bible
  School.

Kevin's Passport

Ryan may struggle with water demons, but Kevin is struggling against bureaucracy!  When he sent in for a new passport recently, to be expedited, he was promised by the Post Office personnel that it would return Dec. 1.  But Dec. 1 came with only a notice that he owed more money.  He needs to get his passport in time to send it off to Washington, D.C., for a Benin visa (which usually takes 1 week).  If all this doesn't work out, he probably won't make it for Christmas.  Airlines are booked solid. We need your help with this.

~Please pray that Kevin will have his passport in hand within the next few days and be able to quickly obtain his Benin visa--and make it home for Christmas.

Mary and Sebastian

They did not marry for love, but because of cultural pressures.  After moving back to Sebastian's homeland of Benin, from Zimbabwe, Mary surrendered her life to Christ.  In the recent years he has tried to destroy her faith through Voodoo spells, and yells at her every time he catches her praying.  Hostility and anger have been flowing through Sebastian's life toward her.  From the moment she walks in the door from work she wonders what will send him into a rage.

Except since you started praying!  Sebastian, from the time you received word about him, became quiet--tranquil around the home.  Now he is even introducing Mary to his guests who visit the home and asking for her opinion on things (something he has never done).  It appears, up to this point, that he hasn't even been involved in Voodoo or sorcery since you started praying.  He also hasn't had the friends that pull him into this practices to their house. Mary is amazed.  She is very happy with the changes in his life, but longs for him to turn over his life to Christ.

~Continue your warfare praying over Sebastian, that satan's power in his life be bound and that he'll surrender to Jesus!

In Christ,

Barbara, Jeff and Kari
