Dear Ayizo and Beyond Prayer Partners,

 

Kevin received his passport on Friday and was able to get it into the mail to the Benin Embassy in Washington, D.C., the same day.  Jeff contacted one of our Beninese Baptist brothers, Prosper, who is presently working at the Benin Embassy in D.C., and asked him if he could put a rush on Kevin’s visa.  Prosper replied that he would do what he could—and that he was in charge of the visit of Benin’s President, Yayi Boni, to the United States.  This event is taking place right now!  Yayi Boni is to meet with President Bush either today (Tuesday 12^th)) or Wednesday.

 

Kevin leaves the USA for Benin on next Monday! (in 6 days)

 

~We praise God that Kevin’s passport came through!

~Pray that he will receive his Benin visa before the end of this week.

~Pray for Prosper as he receives President Yayi Boni and pray for Yayi Boni’s meeting with President Bush.  Benin needs America’s help!

~Jeff returns from Cote d’Ivoire at 11:30 pm tonight.
