You may sign up for our newsletter and e-mail updates at:
     Ayizo-Singerman@earthlink.net or http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Ayizo/
This is run by Fred Orcutt and Rochelle Knoles. They do a tremendous job in keeping the list up to date and they can even help you or your church with information about the Ayizo ministry.
We generally send e-mail updates weekly so you can see what God is doing and see how He has answered your prayers. Since the inception of e-mail praying we have seen God do miraculous things!

Many churches have a volunteer that becomes an advocate for the Ayizo to their church. This may involve keeping a bulletin board current of what is happening in the ministry. You may get the prayer updates and make sure that they are included in prayer times on Wednesday nights or see that the Sunday School classes receive these updates to pray more effectively. This keeps the church informed and involved, at least through prayer, as the Ayizo are reached for Christ!
Prayer cards are available for your church and Sunday School classes. A 4 minute video of the Ayizo can be made available for promotion as well. Just contact the Ayizo-Singerman@earthlink.net to make these requests.

One of the key areas of our strategy for reaching the Ayizo is to enlist your help! We usually have 3-4 volunteer teams come a year and they do a variety of things.
          Prayer walking/evangelism teams
You will be divided into small teams and travel to targeted areas to pray for the people and to share your faith. Translators will be provided. This gives you a great opportunity to meet the people right where they live!
          Medical Teams
In certain targeted areas, we have medical teams set up mobile clinics to help meet the health needs of the Ayizo. People are screened, doctors examine, medicines are distributed, and the Gospel is shared with the Ayizo. Churches have been started through this valuable tool.
          Leadership Training
Small teams may come and help in training our leaders in various aspects of spiritual leadership. We usually go to zones where the Ayizo can easily walk to and have an all day event to teach.
     Logistics of a team visit
In brief, teams usually spend between 7-10 days in country. A minimum of 24 hours is needed on each side of the trip for travel to and from Benin. Volunteers stay at a Catholic Conference Center located just a 5 minute walk from the Singerman’s home in Calavi. This is a nice, clean, and safe place. Rooms have either a double bed or 2 singles, with a toilet and shower in the room. Each room is equipped with a ceiling fan and mosquito netting. Meals are prepared by the conference center staff. Usually a sack lunch is taken to eat while doing ministry.
In country costs average about $40 a day and include food, lodging, transportation, and incidental fees. Usually the only other money that is needed is for souvenir shopping and of course your airfare.
